Dissection

Do you think
It’s possible
To dissect
Love?
After loving some
one
for all their qualities
Do you think
you can cut out
a piece
of that love
and throw it
away?
Or better yet
bottle it up
like an appendix and say
“OOH! Remember when I had that
taken out?”
It’ll never make sense
how
people can ignore
that tiny voice in
their hearts
screaming for
attention…
scalple it
and push it away.
